Simply put: this track jams! There aren't many songs that I receive that I play in my car and people pull up to me and ask, "What's that you are listening to?" That's what happened while cruising down Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood on a warm summers' day. It's a stronger track than it is a song, but it's the one song off of their self-titled CD, Friction Monster, that showcases their star potential in the most impactful and succinct manner. You are guaranteed to enjoy rocking out to this.

London calling
hmmmm, sounds like brand new meets the clash, on the first listen. kinda classic punk-ish, in spots. vibe reminds me of london calling. vocals are really good. guitars could be a little louder, great breakdown by the way. bass is fine. song is well thought out and produced. good job!

Take a swing, punk
Punk-swing fusion? Heard so many bands that remind me of The Clash lately; but this sounds like it's crossed with a zoot suit or somethin. Then you start scratchin and goin weirdass. Phat. Nice. Original. Hard to classify. All good. Vocals are punkish (well done). Good, if sparse, guitars. Bass sounded like the double bass violin, and that was beautyous. In the grand scheme of it all, this song is one of the better ones on GB. No improvement necessary, unless you want to turn it into something different.

Intense...
A very intense start to a very intense song. Definitely a great attention grabber. Strong vocals - and whilst not always pitch perfect they effectively capture the brat like attitude of the music. Like a lot of 70s punk and rockabilly music. Great bass and guitar which effectively carries the rhythm. Nice production with great backing vocals and interesting samples which give the song character. A rocking tune which will hopefully rock its way to the top!

Cool
The bass was really danceable, but somehow creepy and demonic. It resembled a bassline from a Joy Division song ("Wilderness" I think). The vocalist sounded slightly mental, which is a wholehearted compliment, I assure you. Those screeching sounds were really cool, although I'm unsure of their source (guitar, maybe). I was loving the really snotty, belligerent tone of the lyrics; they provided a rather disturbing humor to the track. Very interesting.
